Brisbane International Cruise Terminal

As the Port of Brisbane is well advanced in their design and approvals process for the master plan of Brisbane International Cruise Terminal and given the scale of the car parking areas and passenger numbers anticipated, there is a need to understand the operation of the internal road layout and identify any likely bottlenecks prior to commencement of construction.

TMA provided transport modelling assessment for the short-term and long-term operation of BICT. Using recognised methods of assessment, in the form of microsimulation modelling, we assisted in the identification of any possible bottlenecks due to circulation issues; and provided a basis for design enhancements that may lead to a more robust circulation arrangement.
